Peace everyone, Nazz and I are back with our second album together as NODUO, but this time we brought in our good friend B1g Z to produce the whole thing. We set out to make Harvest Moon as not only a drastic improvement upon our self titled debut, but to take it in an entirely different direction. For any new listeners; NODUO is a rap duo from Toronto, ON formed by no god. (myself) and Nonazz, we've been good friends for a few years and share a strong passion for creating hip hop, and more importantly, celebrating its culture. We hope you enjoy, and appreciate any means of support; to follow is an album description that hopefully helps to provide some context for the album.

The harvest moon is a lunar phenomenon that occurs once a year, usually towards the end of September; it is a full moon that is celebrated by many rural communities in many cultures, as it arrives around the Autumn Equinox, symbolizing a shift in seasons in preparation of the harsh, cold winter weather. It is a moment in time that serves as a reminder of the warmth and prosperity brought to us by the past summer, a feeling of curiosity as the temperature starts to drop and the leaves change colour in the present, and the unpredictability of what winter has in store with its harsher nature than the other seasons. We both found this fascinating and drew our own artistic interpretations from the harvest moon.

Harvest Moon is an exploration of time - not scientifically - instead as a philosophical concept. We are all subjects of time, completely dependent on it as it will outlast every single one of us, as well as most of the things we have built as people. Everything is constantly in motion, everything changes, whether for better or worse. Seasons change, climates become more extreme, settlements get established while others decay or get destroyed, relationships wither away as new ones bond, and people grow older with every passing moment. Time is inevitable, and so is change as its byproduct. In the world we live in, it is necessary to accept that everything is constantly changing in order to remain sane and survive, or else time will leave you behind, even while you're still alive.
